2.6.21.1-linode32
This kernel fixes the high load averages on idle systems (as reported here), adds DM_MIRROR support, and also contains the openafs driver, with build instructions (and some hackery) provided by Linode.com community member Kevin Cody.
Can I get a witness? (...before making Latest 2.6 point to it)

My load average still seems high

Seems like an appropriate loadavg to me, with that many (running) processes. For the real test, you need an idle system. It may take a few minutes after booting for your loadavg to settle down.

I rebooted my Linode (Debian Etch, previously running 2.6.20-linode28) with this new kernel yesterday. The load average fix is working, alright :D (see image below, the system is under more or less constant actual load, but you can clearly see where I upgraded the kernel).
I noted no problems with the new kernel, so far.
