Purchased a domain with DynDNS. Setup the Linode DNS Manager with that domain (master). Updated the nameservers in my DynDNS control panel to Linode's (ns1.linode.com, etc).

My question is, do I need to pay DynDNS for their Custom DNS Service? Seems like these functions are duplicated with Linode's DNS Manager (A Record, CNAME, MX Records, etc).

Will gladly provide any other information if this is not clear. Thank you.

No, if you're using Linode's DNS services, all you need from DynDNS is the bare registration.
