Is the IP address you get when you signup and deploy your first node static?
Can I put it into DNS, for example at zoneedit, and it will not changes?
Or do I need to use the DNS facilities at Linode to get an actual
static IP?
TIA |

| Yep, that's your static IP, regardless of what DNS service you use. |

| Will I get to keep that IP if I move to another node, say if I upgrade to a larger node? |

| Yes, if you stay within the same datacenter. |
