Just saying hello...

I signed up for my first Linode last night. Having an absolute blast. Problem is, it's taking away from my sleep and work, I'm having so much fun.

I was with shared hosting (one provider!) for 15 years, then moved to managed VPS about 4 years ago, and felt now it was time to try unmanaged. It's helpful to have the background of the managed VPS. This will be a steep learning curve but it is totally worth it.

welcome. I know how fun it is. I have 1 personal linode and managing 5 at work.
