| If you send a message from Gmail to another server, which then delivers it back to Gmail, it will not show up in your inbox. If you search you should find some threads talking about this. |

| I have a similar issue, never bothered to figure out what it was but for me the mail only appears when I click "All mail" in gmail. It seems to skip the Inbox and doesn't go to spam either. Maybe you have the same? |

| I made another try to send mail to gmail account, it now goes to inbox. However, in hotmail account it still flagged as SPAM. Any ideas would be much appreciated. |

I think Gmail has some kind of de-duplication mechanism, so if it finds you sent it the very exact mail that already is in the inbox (OR sent box), it ignores it.
A one@gmail -> user@linode -> forward to another@gmail chain does work right, so it's not a "you're not gmail" thing. |
