Hi

I have permissions set to 775 for folders and 644 for files and have set the user to my user and group to www-data for these files and folders.

However, I still can't view images that I have uploaded (they appear as broken) and when I visit the files and folders through the browser I get the 403 error.

Any ideas? I'm stumped.

Also, I can;t now seem to access my phpmyadmin page either. I checked the .htaccess file and it has my ip allowed.

I am assuming you are using Apache. If so, can you take a look in the error log which should be in /var/log/apache2/error.log to see if there are any errors in there that can specify what the actual problem might be?
