The website is running as www.domain.com but NOT domain.com

Hello folks,

On Ubuntu 16, I have a static html webpage running as www.domain.com but when I try domain.com in the browser, I get the error "server not found".

What this issue relates to and how do I fix this issue?

Main possibilities that come to mind are you don't have an address (A record) for your domain, or you haven't configured your web server to respond to requests for the bare domain. Without knowing your actual domain name, it's impossible for us to do any diagnosis.

I resolved the issue by correcting the entry in the virtual host for the domain.
