I'm trying to deploy a new Linode using a StackScript and it doesn't seem to be using the mysql root password that I give it when initiating the script.

I tried using both the Wordpress and the LAMP scripts:

The Wordpress gave me an error when I tried to connect saying that it could not establish a connection to the database. When I tried to connect to the mysql database, I couldn't log in because it wouldn't accept my root password.

Then, I tried the LAMP script and again, I couldn't connect to the mysql database.

Did I do something wrong, or is there something wrong in the script?
