Hi

I've installed Ubuntu 11.10 with Cherokee web server.

I'm looking for an easy to follow tutorial that will help me to setup my Ubuntu Server as a web server. I have bookmarked tutorials that explain the software needed which makes perfect sense but am unsure as to how to setup name servers and point a domain name to the server etc so that I can actually host some websites and access them via my PC.

Some help or a point in the right direction would be appreciated.

You don't need to setup a DNS server yourself, linode provides them. See http://library.linode.com/dns-guides/configuring-dns-with-the-linode-manager
