Hi, I want to demo a site i'm hosting on a LAMP stack (ubuntu) before switching the DNS. I have various vhosts set up already.

I would really like to be able to show my clients the development stages before going live.

What would you suggest? Thnks

Setup a Local HOSTS file pointing those test domains to your Linode IP.

Note that on Windows 8, Windows Defender will override the HOSTS file to prevent DNS hijacking. Other antivirus software on other operating systems may do something similar.

Note that if you're using Windows 8 you have way more problems (mentally?) then worrying about how MS screwed over yet again another computing standard.
