I am running Debian 6.

The installation instructions for installing mod_security on debian in Linode Library (http://library.linode.com/web-servers/a ... d-security) is old and do not work. I followed the guide from top to bottom, but I could not get it to work. I tried with an attack on a test php file, but there was nothing that stopped me.

Anyone that have an up to date guide on how to install mod_security with owasp core ruleset that works for debian. I already tried a few guides searching with google, but none of what I have found works. Most of them get mod security running, but no rules kick in.
