I have several problems with my Debian squeeze exim4 installation configured as described on the http://library.linode.com/email/exim/se ... -6-squeeze page.

1. A lot of frozen messages because of the wrong alias - I have

root: pparadis

in /etc/aliases. I've changed it and resend the messages, but I think that it should not be in the default configuration.

2. After successful sending I received "No mail for ..." when I use mail to read the messages. I've read that it does not support Maildir so I've tried mutt and sever other clients - all they fail because of the incorrect value of the MAIL variable - it is /var/mail/user, for particular user - how should I change it to Maildir for all users?
