/var/lib/varnish/server# service varnish start
* Starting HTTP accelerator [fail]
storage_file: filename: /var/lib/varnish/server/varnish_storage.bin size 1024 MB.

???

I cant find proper way to clean the storage.

on reboot
*Starting HTTP accelerator [fail]

on w3tc I have varnish cache purging enabled.
varnish servers - 127.0.0.1

using ubuntu 10.04, wordpress, nginx, varnish

solved. Make sure you dont have page break.
