just few questions,
what version of xen is hosting use?

Can we install own own distros using isos? I do not mean using vmware images

How is the DNS Manager? Can I set SPF and DKIM?

Does Linode sell domains too?

We able to use our own dns management in case I don't like one here?

Can I be able to host my own pbx server like elastix? (hence why I asked about uploading isos)

Looking to buy 1024 plan but wonder is there any performance issues with that plan since it's the cheapest

DNS - yes you can set spf and dkim records
Linode does not sell domains.
You can use whatever DNS management provider you like

As long as you can fit whatever you're running in ram you should be fine with a 1024, your experience may vary though depending on what you're running.

You can check what version of Xen you're using with "dmesg | grep -i xen". When I've checked, I've usually seen some version of Xen 4.1.

*edit* Anyone know if asterix type packages work on xen like elastix and piaf? Did a bit look around and saw it has to do something with the kernal.Any idea what I need to get it to work?

I have no idea if it requires a special kernel module, but Linode does allow you to run your own kernel through pv-grub, so that shouldn't be an issue.

It looks like it for ubuntu, trying to use centos and use piaf install script.Ill just make new topic and see if anyone has other thought before i purchase linode later.
