Hi there,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if one node-balancer can handle multiple pools of servers. I'm looking to set up 2 server pools and trying to figure out if I'll need 2 nodebalancers, or if one can handle both.

Hi there,

Can you please explain what you mean by server pools? NodeBalancers would be able to support multiple ports, and would be able to balance between multiple servers, but I'm a little confused on what you mean by server pools.

Thanks,

Dave.

Hi Dave,

I'm working on building an environment that would have multiple "pools" of servers - so I'd have for example 3 or 4 web servers which would be balanced on port 80, but then an additional 3 or 4 database servers balanced on a different port.

I just wanted to know if that would require two nodebalancers, or if I could do it with one?

J
