I have a 2GB Linode with an old 32 bit CentOS installation on one of the old style linodes.

When I try to activate backups, the server responds that it is not available on that server. Are they no longer available on the older systems?

Thank you,
Jeff

Jeff,

Please open a support ticket and we will manually activate your Linode's Backup Service. This isn't so much a 32-bit issue as it is a Linode Manager bug that our development team is aware of. We are working to resolve that, but in the meantime we can manually activate the Backup Service if you enter a ticket in the "Support" tab of the Linode Manager.

Thanks!

Dave.
