Hello,

I am having a problem setting up an additional IP address. I
tried this:
# ifconfig eth0:1 64.5.53.78 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
# route add -host 64.5.53.78 dev eth0:1

and this:
# ifconfig eth0:1 64.5.53.78 broadcast 64.5.53.255 netmask 255.255.255.0 up
# route add -host 64.5.53.78 dev eth0:1

I can ping 64.5.53.78 from my linode but not from outside my
linode. Does anybody know what is wrong?
