I have heard the term clustering thrown around and I am wondering if anyone has any experience with it?

I am under the impression that it is getting a number of servers to appear as one to the world but run in conjunction with each other to spread the load and be more efficient.

Is this a correct summary, and if it is would it be possible to cluster several linodes together as if they were on a local network? Has anyone done this? Does anyone know of any good documentation?

Cheers.

Out of fashion? Seems pretty good to me? Is there a better way of making several computers act as one to increase processing power and disk space? Whats the story? I'm confused because this seems like a good solution to me.

Cheers.
