Hi there, I'm going to rebuild my linode (was set up by a friend, can't find my root password anymore, + there are some changes I want to make and I enjoy doing things from the ground up).

I've just discovered there are Stack Scripts for building with a wordpress install (I want a LAMP server with WordPress in multi user mode).

Unfortunately there is very little for me to choose between the various scripts. Can anybody recommand one? Or is it better for me to use a LAMP script and install WP manually?

I "get by" in server administration when I have a lot of documentation handy and helpful people around. (Knowing just enough to be dangerous... that would be me.)

Thanks for any recommendations on how best to do this!
