Hello everyone,

I'm brand new here, moving over from TextDrive which sadly is being wound up as we speak.

I'm a UK based LAMP developer and am happy working with the shell and getting stuck into documentation, so where's a good place to start?

I'll be moving a couple of WordPress blogs over to start with, with that in mind can someone recommend a suitable distro.

Any pointers or tips would be appreciated.

You'll probably want to read in the library, where there are a lot of guides including a guide on getting started, migrate to Linode, securing your Linode.

There are also LAMP guides and LEMP guides if you want to run nginx, and a ton of other cool stuff.
