Hi I am trying to get vmware workstation running so I can run multiple windows xp on it.

I installed the ubuntu 12.0.4 LT kernel to fix the header problem but now I get these.

Now when I try to boot the virtual machine I get the error.

Could not open/dev/vmmon: No such file or directory.
Please make sure that the kernel module vmmon is loaded

Then Error failed to initialize monitor device

Then error: unable to change virtual machine power state:Internal error

You're unlikely to find much success running VMWare inside Xen, and you're even less likely to find success running multiple Windows guests on your server.

I'd recommend virtualizing locally with VMWare or Virtualbox, or looking into hosts that support Windows guests.
