Automate changing boot settings to use grub2

In the guide above, the last section describes using the Linode dashboard to boot into Grub2 mode. Is there some way to do this in a script or something? Right now I have a stackscript to automate the rest of what's described in that guide after I create a new Linode, and I don't want to have to use the dashboard UI every time to do that last part.
