At around 9:30 - 9:45pm EST this evening, I had to really struggle to connect to, and transfer data to and from my Linode. Could have been my provider.

I believe I am on host 24. Anyone else notice anything? Just curious....

Host 24 is @ Hurricane Electric. They are known to have some network issues at times. The Planet is better IMO, but it really depends.

I am also at HE (host 9) and have noticed two slowdowns over the last month or so, lasting 15 to 20 minutes. Typically the packet loss when connecting from Amsterdam goes up to around 80% and traceroute fails at what appears to be a router inside the Fremont data centre. Then, just when I start writing a ticket for caker, everything returns to normal.
