When I do the df command on my Linode 64 I get this:

/dev/ubda 99150 77071 16959 82% /


But 99150 blocks is only about 100 MB. Shouldn't /dev/ubda be using the whole 1GB disk space (minus the 64 MB I selected for swap)?? Where's the other 900 MB of space?

What does "df -h" print?

What is the size of the image reported in the Members area?

Should I use the "Create an empty disk image" thing to make the other 860 MB available for use?

If I want to make the /dev/udba space bigger, do I need to create the bigger udba from scratch and then reload debian onto it, or is there a way to expand the existing udba?

That's right -- either of the two. You could create an empty disk image and mount it some place on your filesystem.

Or, start over with the distro wizard and make the image max size from the start.

Currently we don't have an automated method to resize disks.

It'd be great if you could get such a thing working. But for now, what are my options if I'd like to "start over"? (I just extended from 1 gig to 2 gigs of space, but then realized that it didn't just give me extra space).

If I create another disk and mount it, I'll have to place stuff there deliberately. I'd really like to continue placing stuff in my home directory or in the /usr/local path or whatever. And I can't do this (I don't think) if I just mount another drive.

Any suggestions?

Now there IS a way to resize a disk image. I just released the feature.
