Any updates on this issue? It's happening right now...

I'm also having issues, which also obviously affect my ability to post on the forum. :) But at least I can get through a bit.

It seems like it might be upstream of ThePlanet at above.net; most people aren't having problems, but some are.

hmm.. my service provider is Optimum/Cablevision
Who would be responsible for notifying Above.net in this case? Is this something that the Dallas data center would do?

Yup. I don't see any packet loss right now. The strange thing is that the same thing happened during the past three mornings around this time. It lasts for about 20-30 minutes and then fixes itself.
