hi guys I am looking to get a vps as I want something beter than a laggy shared host.

I am looking at the 360 account. one thing tho I am a comlet linux noob....

what I am looking to do is run a few websites related to the mmo eve online mostly ran on the cms e107 and a killboard and maybe a privet teamspeak server. possible ftp access to domains and sub domains

the teamspeak is not 100% needed at this time so I have time to learn the ins and outs of running a server.

as for the web hosting what would be the best way to go about it.

is thar a control panel that will help me in this (I am vary familiar with using control panels) control panel wuld be best for me as I am not a varry good command line type of person(but I can use it if I have to just prefer some kind of ui)

how should I set up partions. shuld I put it all on one patition or have a partion for mysql one for the web page them self (if the scond is true how do I set it up) as I wuld like to play with the server with out loseing website and mysql stuff

is their a complete noobs guild to VPS to help with this sort of thing

I am going to be getting an account with in the week and wuld like to get as much info as I can before hand to help me decide what I am going to do. so any and all help would be grate..

thanks for your time

I've heard both ISPconfig and Webmin mentioned favorably here. I'm more of a command-line guy so don't have any first-hand experience with either, though. Maybe someone else will chime in...

Actually, I use Webmin. Runs very nicely. I do almost everything from the CLI though, but it's there when it's needed :).
