I'm desperately trying to get this up and running. Unfortunately, I'm not a Linux guru.

I've already installed the files via:
apt-get install pennmush

They're currently located in a few places, but the main database is located:
/usr/share/pennmush

And that's as far as I can get. It doesn't appear that the process is running when I use 'ps' or 'netstat'. I really have no idea where to go from this point.

Please help me out here!

Looks like pennmush doesn't follow the typical setup of most daemons packaged for Debian/Ubuntu. This thread on the Ubuntu forums may help: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=7543123

Is there anything in /usr/share/doc/pennmush/README.Debian that helps?
