I have been using Fedora 11 for my Linode, however i tried cPanel and it stuffed up my Server. So now i am needing to reload my OS.

However, i need to choose a good OS.

Which should i choose, i need an OS that is stable, easy to install Lighttpd, MySQL etc. and is frequently updated.

CentOS wouldn't let me install Lighttpd because it couldn't find the package, however Fedora 11 would.

Please Help.

If you wish to use CentOS, then...

http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/lighttpd/

BTW, "stable" and "frequently updated" don't really go together :)

if you want to install cpanel you should go to centos otherwise, ubuntu or debian is a good choice.

I prefer ubuntu!
