Hello
When I was trying to install gcc comiler using yum
it ask me to install kernel-headers but of regular kernel version,
does this header version my damage my vps?
so what is the save way to install compiler?

Unless you are using pv-grub to boot with your own kernel, Linodes use a kernel supplied by the host machine and make no use of kernel headers (or any other kernel-related stuff) installed inside the VPS.

I used "yum install gcc-c++" and that was ok for my application
