Hello All,
I have just signed up for a linode account and i have now discovered that Linode's version of Centos does not have SElinux.
I have installed the standard centos distribution kernel and it seemed to boot ok.
However after following the centos part of the following link;
http://library.linode.com/linode-platfo ... o#centos_5
I found at the bottom of this web page there is a note that the standard centos distribution kernel does not work on linode.
A centos bug report states that the kernel options required by linode are unavailable with the standard centos distribution kernel and wont be available until centos 6
http://bugs.centos.org/view.php?id=3372
This seem to relate to Centos 5.2, but as i am using Centos5.5 and the standard distribution kernel seems to boot ok - does anyone know if it ok the use the standard Centos5.5 distribution kernel with a linode VPS?
