I'm running a simple server LAMP, dovecot, amavisd, postfix with CentOS, I started from CentOS 5.2 and updated to 5.6.

Always good with 2.6.18 flavour kernel, never got a problem, never needs to restart the vps,
yesterday I switched to latest 2.6.38 paravirt to get a try and my system kernel panicked two times during normal operations.

Have you got some idea?

What kernel do you suggest?
I would like to continue using the 2.6.18 as it is the default kernel of CentOS but linode dismissed it and put it in the legacy unsupported kernels, so kernel to use?
