Guys, how do you backspace with linode's ajax console?
also it's quite slow? does it work for your or may you recommend something else?

The Lish Ajax Console works best with Mozilla Firefox. Other browsers don't render it properly. If you use Firefox you shouldn't have that problem.

I'd recommend connecting to Lish via SSH as explained here:

Chrome is known to have major issues with ajaxterm, IE and Firefox work much better.

While I don't agree with Linode's decision not to fix it, it *is* supposed to be just for emergencies where you can't SSH to your server, and you can't SSH to lish either. Even being proxied is not really a reason to need ajaxterm, since most proxies will let SSH go out over port 443.
