Hi,
I noticed that Kernel 3 is now available from linode manager.

Why it isn't market as latest?

Is it safe to boot using this kernel?

Thanks.

New kernels are put through some testing before they get marked as latest.

Also, this has the opportunity to break userspace -- so we'll likely be creating another kernel pointer, and only after testing it with our templates will we be defaulting new deployments to it.

ok, thanks for the answer...
also if I don't need too much ram it will be cool to see 500MB again instead of the 420MB total I see now.
