Today I see on the dashboard that some hours ago "Lassie initiated boot " server is running but.. I how do I know why or what happened?

Also... as an idea.. would be great to have an option in the E-mail Alerts settings to send an email if Lassie boots the system.

Check /var/log/messages /var/log/syslog and connect to lish and run the logview command (see http://library.linode.com/troubleshooti ... node-shell) one of those should say why it shutdown

1. Give details of your problem
2. Post any errors
3. Post relevant logs.
4. Don't hide details i.e. your domain, it just makes things harder

You can get a notification by setting up an @reboot entry in cron to e-mail you.

i think its becouse you are a new member, went i had my linode for the firt time y twite a lassie reboot.
