I'm seeing ~30-40% packet loss between my node in Newark and 112.91.175.149, a server on a China Unicom line in Zhanjiang. This has been consistent since I started hitting this box weeks ago. It takes more than an hour to download over HTTP a 5 megabyte file using wget in retry mode with --timeout=180, with many retries.
I get zero packet loss from a Comcast residential connection in Connecticut, and the same download takes only a couple minutes with no retries.

I also tried from a Linode in Fremont. It wasn't as bad as in Newark, but there was significant packet loss and the download took 15 minutes with several timeouts and retries.

Anything to be done about this? Also, if anyone has nodes in other datacenters, could you post an mtr to 112.91.175.149?
