Good evening,
i would like to try to take a vps with Ubuntu LTS 12.04 but i have read it has a problem with Upstart. Is there any solution for this bug or is it better to install 10.04 and then, later, upgrade to 12.04+? Thanks

10.04 uses upstart as well. I'd say go for 12.04 at this point. Is there a specific bug report you are following?

Hi,
I've been running 12.04 after upgrading from 10.04. I didn't want to wait until 12.04.1 came out. It's been solid for me. There were a couple of things I had to troubleshoot following the upgrade but they were related to just the upgrade. A fresh install should run fine, at least my experience has been good.

I did get some of the errors in the mentioned bug report but they haven't caused me any trouble that I know of. Just a bunch of error messages on boot.
