i've been following the instructions here:

to the letter, and none of my websites work. after editing my computer's hosts file and adding my ip address (as stated in the instructions above) I'm either getting a 500 internal server error, or a blank "index of /" page. I'm pretty lost, ive tried doing everything over from scratch, and nothing seems to be working. I have no idea what to do from here.

and im getting the blank "index of /" page even though there are files in my folder:

/home/***/public/squattheplanet.com/public

Is there a file named "index.html" in that folder?

Did you do anything with your firewall yet? It would also be helpful if you posted your virtualhost file & confirmed your DNS info.

BTW, squattheplanet is working for me.
