Hello,

I have a 512mb linode and wondering what happens if I get another 512mb for just putting a database on. Each 512mb linode has 200gb bandwidth but if I used one for just a database does my bandwith go up to 400gb or do I still have 200gb because my webserver is on 1 linode.

Would it make more sense to get a 1gb single linode to have more bandwidth then?

The bandwidth is pooled, so you have 400gb to use however you like.
