After considering various hosts, comparing bandwidth, storage, cost and language support. I finally concluded that linode is the one I want to go with. I have hosted a simple news site http://thedrumr.com its up and running for about a month now, and I'm one happy customer!! Keep up the good work to all you techies at linode, you made me feel like I'm a big ".com".

Tip#1: I use yahoo briefcase to upload files and use wget to get it in
my linode

Tip#2: I use tinyurl, both these help making my deployments a lot easier.

Happy new year!! to all at Linode!!

Check out WinSCP and SSH, it cuts out the yahoo middle man.
