I'm almost never happy with other people's software. If the user needs a manual then you've failed as a programmer. But the linode control panel is intuitive and obvious. (My dream is to write my own operating system as MS is awful and I have issues with linux as well.)

But the linode control panel is damn near close to perfect and i give it 5 stars.

Linode support is prompt and efficient. Everything is perfect as far as I'm concerned. Within a week of getting my linode, I got another one for the company I work for.

There are cheaper xen vps hosts but none better.
