Today there was a hardware issue with the system my linode is on. I submitted an urgent support ticket and it was answered almost immediately. It was fixed fast with regular status updates.

Having my sites down for any length of time is a stressful frustrating experience but fact of life is that stuff breaks sometimes. Knowing that support tickets get answered and issues resolved so quickly gives me peace of mind. Maybe I could find a cheaper host company somewhere but who knows how long they would take to fix the inevitable hardware breakdown that will occur once in a while.

It's not like me to be such a fanboy but it is very rare that I am so happy with a service as I am with linode.
