How do I configure dynamic IP on my server?

Dear all,

I am using Ubuntu 14.04 and I have registered a domain name which doesn't have a dynamic update client. Please let me know how can I run it on dynamic IP?

Thanks for your help.

Hello, I'm not sure what you mean by dynamic update client, but according to your question "…how can I run it on dynamic IP?", all you need to do is make a configuration for your domain in your web server, then have this identifier in the directory block ' '. You can find more information on setting this up here:

Good luck!

Could you please tell me a use case why a dynamic IP is necessary for a domain? Is it for load balancing?
