Old hardware sell-off?

In the past, linode has sold off old kit when they've replaced it with newer. Since linode has just done a MASSIVE hardware refresh, I wonder if similar is likely to happen again…?

They probably just pawn it off to Digital Ocean to reuse.

You have any idea how many miles are on those boxes? Those are hosting miles, too.

At the minimum, I'd estimate you're looking at new brakes, fuel system cleaning, probably new plugs…

Needs some suspension work; and shocks, and brakes, brake pads, lining, steering box, transmission, rear end.. And maybe new rings, also mufflers, a little wiring…
