Currently rebooting the machine, updates in a few.

I hope my attempt to do crazy stuff with my linode on host41 has nothing to do with it.

... Well, nothing really outrageous. It just happens that I was playing around with LDAP and PostgreSQL when the panic happened. I thought a bug in PuTTY dropped my connection.

Kernel panic only 2 weeks after upgrading the kernel on that host? Did the upgrade cause the panic, or was there something else involved?

(Note: my linodes aren't located on host41, I'm just asking)

Linodes are restarting now.

I've had Jeff Dike and the other UML devels look at the panics generated, and they don't make any sense to them. It only affects hosts with a CPU revision (model in /proc/cpuinfo) that's >= 3. Jeff (who works for Intel) has inquired about it to the CPU folks there, but I haven't heard anything back from him yet.
