Is your node back up ? Mine came up soon after the crash, but was only up for about 5 minutes and its been down ever since.

How the progress on getting this host brought back to life. I really need to do a DB dump and grab my working directories ....

Thanks,

John

P.S. I was getting ready to upgrade my Linode to the fastest one. I am working on a site that I was hopeing to go live with right after Christmas

Have you tried submitting a boot/reboot job in the control panel yet?

If your Linode doesn't power up automatically within a few hours, you might try to do it manually. Just a suggestion.

Host50 should be back in business.

As the nodes were booting this morning, I did notice one Linode instantly heavy into swap. Along with the other nodes booting, this node never hit the limiter, so I suspect that's what happened with last night's reboot.

We'll be monitoring the host today to make sure everything's cool.

Sorry,
-Chris

Hi this may be a dumb question but I can log into the node with the Linode shell but I can't seem to get to it with webmin or ping it. If I do an ifconfig all I see is 127......

Thanks,
John

Is dhcp running on the hosts? I don't want to set IP manually

Thanks

John

perhaps the limiter should have token_refill set to a very low number for the first minute or two of uptime.

Hi All,

I am trying to bring up my node after last night. I understand that eth0 is normally DHCP. But now it is completly missing. Has anyone else on 50 had any weird problems. I am running Cent

Thanks,

John

Log into the member's area, click on the Configurations sub-tab, then click on your configuration profile. Without making any changes, click Save towards the bottom, then reboot.
