host73 went unresponsive. We migrated the array to a hot spare host and Linodes are coming up now. We'll be removing host73 from service. Please open a support ticket if you have any questions.

Wah! That's the first time the host my linode is on has been failed out :-( Hmmph.

Seriously, I'm pretty impressed with the stability of the UML based linodes. Great uptime, normally!

Which explains why I had services running that had never been re-started automatically on boot, and I don't remember exactly how I got them running! Wahhhh. Poor me. I even know the rule: always reboot after installing and configuring a new service, to make sure it works properly. Apparently, I don't follow the rule, though.
