Is it possible (now or in a future) to use the switch IP feature between a Xen linode and a KVM linode in the same datacenter?

It should be possible right now.

Linode -> Remote Access subtab -> Swap IPs

I just did..migrated from xen to kvm and kept the same ip. I am sure if you create a new kvm vm you can migrate an ip from an existing linode to it.
