A simple flag that prompts you to confirm a field (probably a password) would give me much more confidence in setting up my servers:
Quote:
# <UDF name="app_password" label="Application password" confirm="true" />
I've already lost a good 15 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't log into my freshly built server, only to conclude I had mistyped the password in the StackScript form.

Ask for the password twice, compare the strings in the script, print a massive error message and abort if they don't match.

Decent as a workaround, but suboptimal. I would need to figure out that the password must have been entered wrong, check Lish, and start over, which only differs from my current procedure in that I end up knowing for sure why I couldn't log in.

Or just watch the StackScript do its thing as a matter of habit :)
