iPXE (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPXE) boot would allow us to easily start other types of distros.

For example I could run rancheros: http://docs.rancher.com/os/running-ranc ... rver/ipxe/ without having to first set it up locally then boot finish and transfer data over.

+1. I need to install RancherOS on my Linode.

Does anybody know how to boot an ISO on a Linode? I want to install RancherOS and create a Linode image out of it that I can deploy when I need to create new servers.

@sschueller, you mentioned setting it up locally then transferring the data. How would you do that exactly?

Any help would be appreciate.
