I see this only goes up to fedora 19. I tried installing the fedora 19 version on fedora 20 (by changing the path in /etc/yum.repos.d/longview.repo), and it then installs, but when i try to start it gives me:

# sysctl longview start # <- EDIT, sorry, dumb typo, scroll to bottom for resolution
sysctl: cannot stat /proc/sys/longview: No such file or directory
sysctl: cannot stat /proc/sys/start: No such file or directory

I'm not sure if that's specific to the version mismatch or whatever but....just curious to try out longview! any ETA on Fedora 20 support?

The correct command would be "systemctl start longview". sysctl is something else entirely.

ugh, typo. sorry!

Here's systemctl:

# systemctl start longview
# systemctl status longview
longview.service - Longview Agent
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/longview.service; enabled)
Active: failed (Result: exit-code) since Sat 2014-03-01 19:59:24 UTC; 1min 0s ago
Process: 21695 ExecStart=/opt/linode/longview/Linode/Longview.pl (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS)
Main PID: 21696 (code=exited, status=255)

Mar 01 19:59:19 li697-135 systemd[1]: Started Longview Agent.
Mar 01 19:59:24 li697-135 systemd[1]: longview.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=255/n/a
Mar 01 19:59:24 li697-135 systemd[1]: Unit longview.service entered failed state.

im still getting used to systemctl so where do I poke for what happened there?
